Willis Brickman

Willis Gene Brickman was born May 29, 1950 to Leslie and Iral Audine Cott Brickman in Okeeene and passed from this life on January 28, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas. Raised in Okeene, Willis graduated from Okeene High School in 1969 and moved to Oklahoma City where he went to Draughn Business College. After this, he worked in a bank in Oklahoma City in the accounting department. He moved back to Okeene in 1980 and again worked in accounting for Ewbanks Water Drilling. Willis and Jennifer Swart were married on October 31, 1987 in Plainview, Texas by a Justice of Peace who came to her classroom and performed the ceremony. He lived and worked in Plainview until 2005 when he moved to San Antonio, Texas where their two daughters lived. He liked to play guitar and be with family. Willis was a lifetime member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Those who preceded him in death are his parents, his wife, Jennifer, his brother, Gerald Brickman and two nephews, Stephen and Scott.

Those left to cherish Willis' memory are three sisters, Doris Cross and husband, Ralph of Ringwood, Karen Parsley and husband, Roger of Arlington, Texas and Audine Felder of Pauls Valley; two step daughters, Natalie and Emily of San Antonio, Texas; six step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to the funeral home in Willis' name to help with expenses.

Graveside service will be on Wednesday, January 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Ames Cemetery with David Miller officiating.
