It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vicke Clepper, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Vicke was born on July 28, 1959, to her parents Bill Hitchcock and Lois (Ricke) Watt. She peacefully passed away at her home August 14, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Vicke, known for her loving and caring nature, touched the lives of many with her kind and gentle soul. She was a pillar of strength and support for her family, cherishing every moment with them as they meant everything to her. Vicke found great joy in spending time with her loved ones and creating beautiful memories with them.

Her passion for animals, especially horses, reflected her nurturing personality and genuine compassion for all living creatures. Vicke's dedication to her role as a medical assistant exemplified her commitment to helping others and making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

Among Vicke's proudest accomplishments were her grandchildren – Trenton, Bailey, Adelynn, and Adler Clepper. She adored them beyond measure and found immense happiness in being a loving grandmother to each of them.

 Vicke is survived by her loving husband, David Clepper; sons, Jay Clepper and wife, Mandy and Trey Clepper and wife, Brianna and her precious grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill Hitchcock and Lois Watt and son, Matt Clepper.

A Funeral Service to honor and celebrate Vicke's life will be held on Saturday August 17, 2024, at the Cherokee Methodist Church at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Bethel Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Cherokee. 

In honoring Vicke Clepper's memory, let us carry forward her legacy of love, compassion, and dedication to family. May her gentle spirit and unwavering love continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Memorials may be given to the Methodist Youth Group through the funeral home.  Please make checks to the Youth Group.
