Rozella Svacha
September 14, 1937 - December 19, 2024
Rozella Svacha was born September 14, 1937 in Garber, Oklahoma to Emil and Albina Svacha (Vokoun). She was an only child growing up on the family farm near Garber. Rozella died December 19, 2024 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Enid. She was one of God’s special people he placed on the earth. Rozella was a person that always enjoyed life and visiting with people. Her smile reflected the kindness of Jesus. She loved helping her parents on the farm bottle feed baby calves.
Rozella attended a one room country school through the sixth grade. With only a sixth grade education she was able to write many letters to friends and family. After her father passed away in 1982, she and her mother moved to town. Her mother became sick and passed away in 1985. Rozella was able to live by herself with help until 2002. She then moved to the Center of Family Love in Okarche, Oklahoma. She loved it there and called it home and thrived there making many friends. Rozella helped them shred papers, set tables for meals, and loved to visit the other residents. She was an amazing prayer warrior, praying the Rosary every day as well as personal prayers for family and friends.
After a back injury in February of 2017, she moved to the Community Health Center in Wakita, Oklahoma, in May of 2017. The amazing staff worked hard to help her get better. The staff worked to make her feel loved and she was able to enjoy her later years.
Rozella is preceded in death by her parents and many cousins.
She is survived by a few cousins; friends, and so many kind people at the Center of Family Love, as well as the staff at the Wakita Community Health Center.
