Pamela Martin, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on March 24, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on November 30, 1960, Pamela's life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family and her community.

Pamela worked tirelessly as a waitress, showcasing her strong work ethic and commitment to providing for her loved ones. Her career was just one expression of her nurturing spirit, as she consistently sought to create a loving and supportive environment for her children: Christina Mitchum, Tanya Cook, Dezerae Brewer, Fayth Martin, and Dallas Steel. Pamela was not only a parent but also a best friend to her children, always encouraging them and believing in the goodness of others.

Pamela's love extended beyond her family to the many animals she cared for. Her kindness was evident in her passion for rescuing stray kittens and dogs, providing them with food, shelter, and loving homes. This compassionate nature also reflected her interests; she found joy in sewing, spending long days on the water fishing, camping, and enjoying the serene beauty of the lake. Pamela also took pleasure in yard work, where she often could be found tending to her garden.

Her big heart was appreciated by many, and her spiritual connection with God guided her in all aspects of her life. She had a unique ability to see the good in everyone, which made her a cherished friend to many.

Pamela is survived by her loving husband, Paul Martin, her five children, Christina Mitchum, Tanya Cook, Dezerae Brewer, Fayth Martin, and Dallas Steel, and her grandchildren: Aspen Mitchum, Austin Mitchum, Aiden Pratt, Oak Cook, Cameron Brewer, and Alex Brewer. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Metias Ayres and Silas Ayres, as well as her brother, Douglas.

Pamela was predeceased by her parents, Melvin Perkins and Thelma Hobby, a stillborn child, her sisters Sharon and Darlene, and her brother Steve. Her presence in the lives of her family and friends will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on through the love she shared and the lives she touched.
