KIOWA-Thelma Nadine Hadsall Reed, 94, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Pratt Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Kiowa. Burial will follow in the Attica Cemetery.
Nadine was born on a farm at Attica on November 5, 1918 to I.B. Hadsall and Thelma Irene Stiffler Hadsall. She attended and graduated from Attica High School. She and Firman Elwin Reed were united in marriage and to that union five daughters were born. She was a nursing assistant at the Kiowa District Hospital
She was preceded in death by her husband; one grandchild, Crystal Irons; sister-in-law, June Hadsall; one sister, Jerelean; two brothers, Richard and Charles.
She is survived by five daughters, Judith Reed Catlin, Carol Reed Irons, Rebecca Reed Anderson, Melinda Reed Ryan, Melissa Reed Melton, ten grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Kiowa District Hospital or the First Christian Church and given to the funeral home.
Visitation will be Friday, March 29, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
