Goltry-Funeral service for Wilbur will be Friday, April 28, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Goltry Congregational Church. Burial will follow at Karoma Cemetery in Goltry. Viewing will be Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. with family present from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Wilbur Ray Wayman was born in Enid July 20, 1939 to Dean C. and Violet Becker Wayman and passed from this life on April 25, 2017. He married Norma Henneke and had two sons, Michael Ray and David Scott Wayman. Throughout his life Wilbur was involved with farming and ranching in addition to working for Alfalfa County where he retired in 2014. Wilbur enjoyed spending time with his family and friends especially his granddaughters, Ashley and Brooke. He served in the Oklahoma National Guard and attended the Congregational Church of Goltry.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father.

Survivors include his sons, Mike Wayman and wife, Janci and Scott Wayman; granddaughters, Ashley and Brooke; sisters, Carolyn Ames and husband, Albert and Patricia Wayman; niece, Gina Carroll and her husband, J.C. and their son, Bryce; other family and friends.

Memorials may be given to the Goltry Fire Department through the funeral home.
