KIOWA-Sandra Palmer passed away at her home. Graveside service will be Friday, May 24, 2013 at 11:00 am at Riverview Cemetery at Kiowa.
Sandra was born on July 31, 1945 to Milton and Ina Porter at Kingfisher, Oklahoma. She graduated from Kingfisher High School. She moved to Kiowa in 1973. She worked at John Deere as a secretary for many years before the business closed. She was a member of the Kiowa United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Marcy Palmer; sister, Judy Meeker.
She is survived by her son Michael Palmer and wife, Teri; three grandchildren, Nicole Schluterman and husband, Daniel, Justine Goforth and husband, Ryan, Layken Robertson; three great grandchildren, Draven and Myrie Schluterman and Natalie Goforth; three sisters, Joan Maas, Paula Lambert, Alice Cope.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 10:00 am to 6:00 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the Friends of the Kiowa Hospital/Manor Foundation and given to the funeral home.
