Cherokee

Melissa “Missy” Elaine Kimminau was born on January 27 1984 to Clyde Bell and Christina Bell Crigger.  Missy passed away on September 18, 2021.  She grew up and attended school in Cherokee, where she was active in FFA, speech, vocal, and band. Her senior year she was Music Royal.  After graduation Missy attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University.  Missy met and married Bryan Kimminau on July 22, 2006.  To this union three children  were born: Jaxon James, Jacey Jayde, and Jagger Otto.  Later she met Aaron Shepard, the love of her life.  They have one child, Arthur Craig, “Artie”.  Aaron and Missy were planning their life together before she was suddenly taken.

Missy was one of those people who never met a stranger.  She was, however, the loudest person you would ever meet!  Missy was the sunshine for so many people.  She was loved and will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her fiancé Aaron and her children, Jacey, Jagger, and Artie; her dad, Clyde Bell and mother, Christina Crigger (Rick); sisters, Jessica Cunningham and Jennifer Bell; many aunts; uncles; cousins, and friends.  She is also survived by her future in-laws, Craig and Shelly Shepard.

Missy is preceded in death by her infant son, Jaxon James, her little angel; brother, Shawn,  and sister, Shara Bell; maternal grandparents, Jim and Bonnie Bradford, and paternal grandparents, Alva and Frances Bell.
