Mary was born June 28, 1937, in Weston, West Virginia to Orville and Maggie Eisenman Barnett and passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on Tuesday, July 12, 2022.
Mary was raised in Jane Lew, West Virginia and attended Jane Lew High School, graduating with the class of 1955. Mary looked forward to returning home every summer and attending her class reunion. She married Charles Miller in 1953 and had two children: Charles and Linda. After the passing of Charles, she married George Myrick. They had three children: Alicia, Trecia, and John. Mary’s pride and joy were her grandchildren and, great children. She loved watching them play various sports and never missed a birthday party. Shortly after moving to Medford, Mary joined the Senior Citizen’s Group, which quickly became her favorite pastime. She lived for Tuesdays and Thursdays with her beloved friends.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Maggie Barnett.
She is survived by her brothers, Orville Barnett Jr. and wife, Sandy, and John Barnett and wife, Charlotte; son, Charles and wife, Debbie; daughter, Linda and husband, Eddie, daughter, Alicia and husband, Chris, daughter, Trecia; son, John and wife, Shelby; thirteen grandchildren, Michelle, Steven, Lee, Taylor, McKinzie, Jennifer, Jessi, Cody, Dustin, Kelsey, Aaron, Skylar, and Zach; eighteen great-grandchildren, Ava, Bradley, Jayden, Ady, Logan, Reese, Jase, Charli, Jax, Elliott, and Trey, Bennett, Joslyn, and Jayden, Remington, Sterling, Adelynn, and Copely.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations for the City of Medford/Senior Citizens, with Medford First Christian Church serving as custodian of the funds.
