Aline-Graveside service for Marilyn Bloyd will be Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Good Hope Cemetery near Helena with Pastor Steve Campbell officiating. Viewing will be Monday 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. with family present 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Marilyn was born in Okeene on July 1, 1960, the daughter of Ernest Rexroat and Joyce Stricker Rexroat. She grew up in Ringwood and graduated from Ringwood High School. While in school Marilyn was active in 4-H and FFA showing steers. Marilyn and Kent Bloyd were married April 11, 2008. She had lived in Missouri for a period of time but most of her life was spent in the Aline-Ringwood area. She had worked at Wal-Mart and at both Helena Care Center and Cherokee Manor as a CNA. She had also worked for the City of Aline reading meters.
She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Those who survive are her husband, Kent Bloyd of Aline; two children, Crystal Blough and husband, Corey of Garber and Oscar Bloyd and wife, Jamie of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren, Cayden Bloyd and Marshall Bloyd; one brother, Keith Rexroat and wife, Denise of Ringwood; one sister, Barbara Rexroat of Aline; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jerry and Fonda Bloyd of Aline; one niece, Andrea Rexroat-Hinton and husband, Charles; one nephew, Matt Rexroat and wife, Lisa, all of the Memphis, Tennessee area; as well as great nieces and a great nephew.
Memorials may be made to the Aline-Cleo Booster Club through the funeral home.
