WINFIELD-Formerly of Kiowa, Lois Watt passed away on July 14, 2014 in her home. Funeral service will be Friday, July 18, 2014 at 2:00 pm the St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Kiowa. Burial will follow in the Riverview Cemetery.

Lois Ann Ricke Hitchcock Watt was born on Grandma and Grandpa Bowman's farm north of Hazelton, Kansas on October 19, 1936 to Theodore Henry Ricke and Violet Jesse Bowman Ricke. She was a 1955 graduate of Hazelton High School. She married Bill Hitchcock in 1956, to this union three children were born; Ricke, Nicke, Vicke. In 1984 she married Thomas Watt. In 1998 she moved back to Kiowa. She was reunited with her high school sweetheart, David East in 2009 and they moved back to the farm north of Winfield. She was a member of the St John the Apostle Catholic Church. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, collecting dolls and square dancing. She enjoyed her grandchildrens' school activities.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Watt; sister, Dottie Miller; brothers, Bob Ricke and Ted Ricke.

She is survived by her children; Ricke Dean Hitchcock and wife, Belinda of Kiowa, Nicke William Hitchcock and wife, Debra of Kiowa, Vicke Laura Clepper and husband, David of Cherokee, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Angela Allison (Kevin), Wreath Hitchcock, Matt Clepper (Shawna and children), Jay Clepper (Mandy), Trey Clepper, Jadde Easter (Nate), Durelle Henson (Roy); seven great grandchildren, Lauren and Logan Hitchcock, Dylan and Adrienne Allison, Trenton and Bailey Cleopper, Hadley Easter; companion, David East; brothers, Jim Ricke (Juanita), Frank Ricke (Billie), Glenn Ricke (Jana), Paul Ricke (Donna); sisters, Wanda Harding (John), Fonda Lawrence (Ed).

Memorials may be made to St. John the Apostle Catholic Church and give to the funeral home. There will be no public viewing at Lois' request.
