KIOWA-Leona E. Logan, 98, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Kiowa Manor. She was born on March 27, 1914 in Hazelton, Kansas to Calvin and Daisy (Sanders) Koontz. She married John Logan on June 30, 1936 and to that union two children were born: Billie M.Logan (Black) and Calvin "Bud" Logan.
She was preceded in death by husband, John and both children..
She is survived by son in law, Andy Black of Hardtner; two grandsons Jay Black of Great Bend and Jeff Black and wife, Stacy of Hardtner; two great grandsons Conner and Dalton Black of Hardtner. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the Kiowa United Methodist Church.
Funeral service will be Friday, March 29, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Kiowa United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Monty Thompson Continuing Education Fund and given to the funeral home.
