Len Bell of Kiowa, Kansas (Barber County, USA) passed through this world on February 18, 2025 with family and lifelong friends at his side. Len was a longstanding member of Barber County, Cosmos Masonic Lodge and Barber County Shrine Fire Wagons along with Medicine Peace Treaty (Hangman float and Indians). His trucking handle, Hardact, was given to him by his younger brother, which fit Len’s personality in many ways. If you knew Len you knew his laugh. He laughed throughout his life as well as cried and his heart was as big as his personality.
He is survived by his parents, Larry G. Bell and Doris (Groendycke) Bell of Wichita; life partner, Brenda Neal of Kiowa; sons, Logan G. Bell (Amanda) and Lucas J. Bell (Shannon); children of his heart, Madison A. Stratton (Ritchie Oliphant) of Anthony and Michael A. Siedhoff (Stephanie) of Wichita; twelve loved grandchildren; sister-in-law, Cindy Spade; nieces, Bryn Bell of Richmond, California and Stacia (Barrera) Barrett (Jerod) of Cottonwood Falls; nephews, Garrett Gilliland, Talbott Jay (T.J.) Gilliland (Lexi) of Mulvane as well as many great nieces, nephews and dear friends, too numerous to count.
He is preceded by brother, Stephen Bell; sister, Leslee Barrera and brother-in-law, Roy Barrera and his beloved horse, Gray, who we are sure he is ready to enjoy another ride on.
