Kimberlie was born on September 19, 1962 in Rosebud, South Dakota and passed from this life on June 1, 2014 in Enid. Her parents were Omer E. Fisher and Catherine Dilts Fisher. Kimberlie and Alan Hankey, who she finally referred to as Pappy, met in Garden Plains, Kansas. They were married March 27, 1978 in Anthony, Kansas. She worked as a caregiver in several nursing homes. She had lived in the Jet, Cleo Springs, Carmen and Helena areas. Kimberlie was a great cook and loved her kids and grandkids. Although she didn't get along with the worms, she loved to take her kids fishing. Kimberlie had a fondness for animals, especially horses and dogs. She was a huge OU fan and loved to watch her sons play football and baseball. Some of her other passions included crocheting and listening to praise and worship music at her son's church. As her illness progressed, Kimberlie did her best to take care of Alan and her boys. During this time she also researched and gained much knowledge on her condition. Kimberlie attended Calvary Chapel in Enid.

Those who survive Kimberlie include her husband, Alan Hankey, Sr.; her sons, Alan Hankey, Jr. and wife, Christina and Brandon Hankey; four grandchildren, Kurt and Ryan Hankey and Bridgette and Serenity Hankey; one brother, Chris Fisher; two sisters, Christine Weber and Jodi Owings; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roger and Stella Rose.
