November 3, 1932  -  March 24, 2023

Katherine Ann Kerr was born to Clifford Sterba and Eleanor M. Houts Sterba in Carmen and passed from this life on March 24 , 2023 in Alva.  Katherine graduated from Alva High School.  After high school she went to work for the Department of Human Services in Alva.  She married Bill Kerr, and they moved to Helena.  They had a daughter, Kayla.  Katherine continued to work for DHS at the Helena Boys School.  She continued to work at the facility after the Department of Corrections took over for a number of years.

Katherine is preceded in death by her husband, Bill and her daughter, Kayla.

Survivors include her brother, Donald Sterba of Alva; a niece, Donise Cinnamon of Mooreland, and a nephew, Mike Sterba of Stillwater.

Graveside service for Katherine will be Monday, April 17, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Good Hope Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home Inc. of Helena.  www.lanmanmemorials.com  Facebook: Lanman Funeral Home Inc.
