Justice Sequoya Smith was born November 12, 1971 in Frankfurt, Germany to Spencer and Mary Smith. He departed this life on December 16, 2020. He was a graduate of South Barber in 1990. In 1993 he earned his BA from Oklahoma Christian University. He moved to Japan where he taught English for the next seven years. He returned to the States and received his MBA from Oklahoma State University in 2002 and went to work for the Air Force.
Justice loved to travel and signed his e-mails as “the Intrepid Adventurer.” The Air Force allowed him to live in several places, including Washington D.C., Nebraska, Oklahoma, Germany, and Ohio. He traveled to every continent and every state.
He leaves behind his parents, Spencer and Mary Smith; his sister, Charity Chan and her husband, Mark and their children Freedom and Courage Chan, and numerous other family and friends. He will be missed.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on December 23, 2020 at Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Kiowa, Kansas. A private graveside service will be held in the Byron-Amorita Cemetery on December 23, 2020. www.lanmanmemorials.com Facebook: Lanman Funeral Home Inc.
