Judy Gaeddert

February 8, 1946 — August 25, 2021

Enid

Judy Anne (Adams-Nossaman) Gaeddert passed on to her home in heaven at the age of 75 on August 25, 2021, in Enid. Judy was born February 8, 1946, to JL and Ruby Adams in El Reno. Judy moved a lot throughout her childhood between Kansas and Oklahoma.  Judy completed her junior year in high school in Liberal, Kansas, where she met and married Farrel B. Nossaman Sr. on March 22, 1963.  They had three children: Bennie, Angela, and Jamie. Farrel and Judy lived 42 years in the Ringwood community.  Judy loved to travel, mostly visiting her sister, Donna in Colorado. They took many trips around the country and twice to Germany to visit her sister, Beverly. Farrel and Judy were involved with the youth at Faith Center Fellowship. One of the highlights of their life together was chaperoning a mission trip to the Dream Center in Los Angeles, California.

Judy began her work career at Wheatheart Nutrition in the mid-1980s. In 1984 Judy and Jay Ann Schmidt started Community Care in Judy’s basement.  This wonderful program grew into two locations, Hope Outreach Enid and what is now Provision Thrift Meno.  Judy had jobs throughout the years that provided many people with the tools and skill sets to improve their lives. After the passing of Farrel, Judy spent the next six years of her life serving as an intercessor at Faith Center. Judy devoted her life in the service of Christ.

In late 2015 Judy and Richard Gaeddert began a quick courtship and married on June 11, 2016.  Judy and Richard served on a Sunday morning prayer team at Faith Center. They enjoyed their first-year of marriage living west of Ringwood.  They then moved to Judy’s home in Enid.  They loved remodeling their home, spending time helping at Provision Thrift, and traveling to Oklahoma City to visit Judy’s mom.  Judy loved feeding her birds and Richard happily kept her fully supplied with bird seed.  Richard devoted his time and energy to ensuring that Judy continually had a smile on her face every day of their short time together.

Judy is preceded in death by her father, JL Adams and her first husband of 47 years, Farrel B. Nossaman Sr.

Judy is survived by her husband, Richard C Gaeddert of Enid; her mother, Ruby Adams of Oklahoma City; son, Farrel Bennie Nossaman Jr. of Oilton; daughter, Angela Nichols and husband, Donovan of Meno; son, Jamie M. Nossaman and wife, Anita of Carthage, Missouri; six grandchildren, Brittni, Samantha, Lauren, Ryan, Wyatt, and Bleu; one great grandchild, Ryder and one on the way; three sisters and one brother, and a multitude of family and friends.
