Harvey Richard “Red” Harris

Harvey was born December 26, 1928 in Burden, Kansas, the son of Robert Lee and Alice Minnie Harris and passed from this life on October 9, 2021 in Kiowa Kansas. Red served in the U.S. Army and retired from Cessna after 35 years.  Red was a longtime resident of Clearwater and Anthony, Kansas. He enjoyed the many years spent with family at Anthony Lake.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee and Alice Minnie Harris; brother, Robert Harris; sisters, Mary Hanna and Martha Good.

He is survived by his wife, of 64 years, Arnette Harris; their son, Dwight Harris and wife, Stephanie and Dwight’s son, Richard; daughter, Sondra Davis, her children, Robyn Davis and Michael Davis, and Robyn’s son,  Jadein Davis; daughter, Jean Ann Crum and husband, Greg, their son, Aaron Crum and wife, Shelly, daughters, Zaylee, Kennedy, and Hollyn, their son, Dustin and wife, Miranda, and daughter, Cora, their son, Jared and wife, Haley and son, Landon; son, Kelly Harris and wife, Lynn and their son, Michael Adams; brothers, Charles, Irvin, and Donnie.

A graveside service will be Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Burden Cemetery in Burden, Kansas.  Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Kiowa  www.lanmanmemorials.com  Facebook: Lanman Funeral Home Inc.
