Glenna Mahieu

Glenna Lee Mahieu was born on September 25, 1934 at Shattuck, Oklahoma to Benjamin Leroy (Bill) Polin and Avis May (Piersall) Polin and passed from this life on July 21, 2021 in Enid, Oklahoma.  After the death of her father, Glenna and her mother moved to Helena.  Glenna attended Helena School.  Glenna married Ivan Mahieu on June 28, 1951 and they were married for 56 years.  After getting married they moved to a farm south of McWillie to raise their family.  With all but one of her six children in school Glenna went to work for her mother and Jack at Snider’s Meat Market.

Glenna is survived by her children, Billy Mahieu and wife, Regina, Jimmy Mahieu and wife, Paula, Jean Ann Robbins, Mary Blackledge and husband, Jim, and Peggy Bowers and husband Doug; a daughter-in-law, Susie Walters; her grand children: Billy Joe (Jamie), Kyle, Jason (Sharese), Andrea, Alyssa (Jeff), Mitchell (Jennifer), Matt, Krista (Fabian), Sheila (Jim), Clayton (Megan), Christopher (Jamie), Cory (Dawn), Ben (Piper), Renna and Laura (Mark);  her great grandchildren: Dakota ( Kalie), Brittany (Mason), Geneva, Evelyn,  Kaylee, Mason, Casidee, Grady, Logan, Alexander (Baylee), Diego, Esai, Ethan, Samuel, Maggie, Paige, Cooper, Lilliana, Asia, Holden, Asher, Sadie, Charlotte, Jorden and Jackson; great-great grandchildren:  Millie, Rory, Jaxson, Aria Beckett and one brother, Jackie Snider.

Glenna is preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Mahieu; son, Johnny Leroy Mahieu; son-in-law, James Robbins; one brother, Jerry Snider, and three sisters, Dorothy Faye Wagner, Peggy Jo Sweatt and Belva Shoemaker.

Funeral service for Glenna will be Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Helena United Methodist Church.  Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena.  Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.   www.lanmanmemorials.com  Facebook:  Lanman Funeral Home Inc.
