Frances Wiggins

Ringwood-Funeral service for Frances Wiggins, 96, will be Monday, March 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Ringwood United Methodist Church with Rev. Terrill Parvin and Pastor Steve Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Free Home Cemetery, Ringwood. Viewing will be Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with family present from 5:00 until 7:00.

Frances was born on July 3, 1919 in North Enid to John B. Clark and Etta M. Allspach Clark and passed from this life on March 2, 2016 in Enid. Her family moved from Wichita, Kansas in 1932. On July 23, 1936 Frances married Cecil Wiggins at the Enid Court House. Two children, Perry and Shirley, were born to this union. Frances worked as a caregiver at the Ringwood Nursing Home, as a cashier at Wiggins Auctioneers and did sewing for others. She was a member of Loyal workers Extension Club and a sponsor for 4-H and FFA. She was supportive of all of her children's school activities and the Ringwood Fair and Watermelon Auction. Frances taught Sunday School in the children's area. She also delivered Meals-On-Wheels and cooked at church camp. Frances was a member of Ringwood First Baptist Church.

Those who preceded Frances in death include her husband, Cecil Wiggins; her parents, John and Etta Clark; three sisters and spouses, Virgie Himes and husband, Bill, Illa Nickels and husband, Otto, Olive Mayberry and husband, Harold; five brothers, Hazen Clark and wife, Eunice, Pearle Clark and wife, Mary, Selby Clark and wife, Bertha, Harold Clark and wife, Lenora and Eldon "Jim" Clark; grandson, Randy Newman and great grandson, Jamie Chappell.

Survivors include her best friend of twenty-five years, Bob Trumbley of Watonga; her two children, Perry Wiggins and wife, Beverly and Shirley Farmer and husband, James both of Ringwood; sister-in-law, of Marysville, Washington; ten grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; twenty-seven great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Communities Foundations of Oklahoma and in the memo - Ringwood Scholarship Fund - through the funeral home.
