Evelyn Nadine (Postlewait) Doll, 92, died November 7, 2013 after 4 1/2 years as a resident of the Medford Servant Living Center.
She graduated salutatorian from the 1938 class of Medford High School. Evelyn was employed by the telephone company from March 1939 until November 1945, then by Grant County Bank, Medford until January 1950.
She and William R. Doll were married in Medford First Christian Church in October 1949. For two years they traveled for a Tulsa seismograph company by which he was employed, and then moved to Denver in January 1952. She retired in 1987 from the United Bank of Denver after thirty-five years employment.
She was predeceased by her husband, William; her parents, Frank W. Postlewait (1976) and Ethel V. (Hahn) Postlewait (1982) and a brother, Delbert, thirteen days after the father’s death.She is survived by sister, Maxine Thomas of Medford and brother, Dilmond Postlewait and wife, Evelyn L. (Sturm) Postlewait of Wichita, Kansas and nieces and nephews, Robert Thomas and wife, Betty of Harper, Kansas, Lois Harak of Mustang, Oklahoma, Janet Todd and husband, James of Foxburg, Pennsylvania, Larry Thomas and wife, Jan of Perkins, Oklahoma and Lila Cink and husband, Butch of Kaw City, Oklahoma and their families.
Memorials may be given to the Medford First Christian Church through the funeral home.
Services were 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Medford First Christian Church. Officiating was Pastor Craig VanDeburgh. Burial was in Rosemound Cemetery near Medford.
