Eunice Petty Montgomery, 90 of Salina, Oklahoma, born to Marvin Joseph and Emma Hert Petty of Blackwell, Oklahoma on November 23, 1926, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017 in Salina, Oklahoma. She went to school in Blackwell, Oklahoma. She married Nelson Clouse Montgomery on June 19, 1945 in Yuma, Arizona. They followed Nelson's job all over the country before finally making their home in Pensacola, Oklahoma. She was employed with the Vinita School District as a cook at the high school, where she retired. Eunice enjoyed raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren and absolutely loved when the great grandchildren came along. She enjoyed watching bowling, “Gun Smoke” and “The Price Is Right”. She also enjoyed playing bingo, watching all activities in which the grandkids were involved, telling stories about family, watching the dogs do tricks and play with everyone. She was also a lifetime member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Montgomery of Los Angeles County, California, and Linda and husband, Dr. Allan Drusys of Calimesa, California; one son, Brian Montgomery Sr. and wife, Pamela of Pryor, Oklahoma. She has seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by both parents; four brothers and her beloved husband.
