Eltalee Scott

Eltalee Scott passed away on October 17th, 2024, after a short illness. She was 95 years of age. Eltalee was born in Waynoka, Oklahoma on September 14th, 1929. She was the second of three daughters born to George and Cleo Vankirk. She married Samuel Scott on October 31st, 1948. They lived in Hardtner, Kansas for a short time before moving to Conway Springs, Kansas, where they lived for fourteen years.  In the Fall of 1968, they moved to Snohomish, Washington. Her husband Samuel passed away in June of 1980. Eltalee moved to Libby, Montana in 1996 to be near her son, Steve and family. During her years in Libby, she remarried and lost a second husband Charles Eanes. In February 2018 Eltalee moved to Alaska, where she lived with her granddaughter, Joanna Watts for six months before moving to Aspen Creek Senior Living, where she passed away.  Eltalee was preceded in death by her husbands Samuel Scott and Charles Eanes, her sister Georgiann Cornelius, and her son Terry Scott.  She is survived by her sons Steven, Samuel and Bradley Scott, numerous nieces and nephews, seven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren.  Eltalee was laid to rest in the Scott family plot at the Hardtner Cemetery, in Hardtner, Kansas.
