Dorothy Van Osdol

 Dorothy Van Osdol, age 90, passed from this life peacefully on November 28, 2024, at Baptist Village Owasso. She was born August 25, 1934, in Jet, Oklahoma to Floyd Lance and Pearl Lance (Nimmo). On April 6, 1951, she married her beloved husband, Bob Van Osdol, and they celebrated 70 years of marriage. Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her hobbies were crafts, fishing with Bob in Colorado, and her grandchildren. 

 Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Bob; her parents, Floyd and Pearl, and her sister, Geraldine Guy. 

 She is survived by her three children, six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Her children are son, Kelvin Van Osdol and wife, Ellen; daughters, Teresa Gleghorn and husband, Mark, Renda Jones and husband, Matt. Her grandchildren are Travis Alumbaugh and wife, Cindi, Tracy Alumbaugh, Paige Banaji and husband, Edul, Kyle Jones and wife, Katie, Brian Van Osdol and wife, Angela, and Dennis Jones and wife, Megan.
