He enjoyed Sci-fi, especially Star Trek and was an avid poker player. However, his biggest passion was his family.
Don is survived by his children, Rich and Candice Ransom, Frankie Unruh, Randy and Skye Ransom, Charel and Jordan Cooper, Sara Lyon and Joe,l and Jenny Lyon; his fifteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, with one on the way; his brothers, Rod, Jerry and Curly; a host of nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Billy Ray and Donna Mae Ransom and his wife, Donna Joyce Ransom.
He will be forever remembered for his friendly spirit, his incredible brilliance, and his ornery sense of humor. His family was truly his proudest asset.
