Dale G Riggs

Graveside service for Dale G Riggs, age 88, of Enid will be held Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Square Cedar Cemetery west of Ringwood with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena. Dale was born August 28, 1936, in Conway Springs, Kansas to Nettie and Glenn Riggs and passed away Monday, April 14, 2025, in Enid.

He attended Conway Springs High School and Friends University. After working for a time at Boeing, he moved to Oklahoma City to learn the Formica business from his brother, Bill. He married Charlene Wallace on October 20, 1962, in Enid, Oklahoma, and they were blessed with two children, Mike and Carol.

The Riggs family moved to Enid in 1968 and settled in Waukomis in 1969. It was in Northwest

Oklahoma that Dale continued the trade he had learned from his brother. He applied laminate countertops all over Oklahoma and surrounding states until his retirement in 2021 at age 84.

Dale is survived by his wife, Charlene of the Enid; his son, Mike and wife, Tammy, and his daughter, Carol, all of Enid; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law, Jean Riggs.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Nettie and Glenn Riggs; his brothers, Bill and Ken; his sister Margaret Baldwin; his twin brother Gale, and daughter-in-law, Cindy Riggs
