Connie was born December 10, 1939 in Cherokee to Opal Elnora Lenfoot and Everett Caywood and passed away August 29, 2021 at Wakita CHC. She attended school in Cherokee and graduated in 1958. She attended college at Northwestern Oklahoma State University and graduated midterm in 1963 with a Bachelor of Arts in Art, Home Economics and Biology. She became a member of the First Baptist Church in 1949.
She married William H. Gaff on July 13, 1962 and they resided in the lake area. They ran the riding stables and worked for the Corp of Engineers taking surveys in Salt Plains and the park areas. She was a member of the Vining Church where she was a sunday school teacher, song leader and board member. She moved to Cherokee in 1995 and started a house cleaning business. In 1999 she started at JCCC as property officer and retired from there.
She is preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Kayla.
She is survived by one son, William Brett Gaff; stepson, Dusty Dean Gaff; one grandchild, Dustin Bo; three great grandchildren, Kilynn, Kami and Krosby Lamont and two step grandchildren, Dakota Gaff and Chyenne Gaff.
Memorials may be made to Samaritans Purse Operation Christmas Child through the funeral home.
