Charles Cox

Cherokee-Funeral service for Charles Raymond Cox will be Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at the Friends Church in Cherokee. Viewing will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Charles was born on June 16, 1956 in Beech Grove, Indiana to Travis Cox and Ellen Caulder Cox and passed from this life on January 24, 2018 in Enid.

He attended Burlington School. Charles pastimes included reading and watching OU football. He loved to read his Bible and spend time with his dog.

Charles was a good man and was always helping others.

Those who preceded him in death include his parents and one brother, Robert.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Cox; children, Sharlie Jo Rutherford and husband, Brad, Pepper Wooten and husband, Steve and Lacie Floyd; one brother, Travis Cox and wife, Teresa; one sister, Anna Cooper and husband, J.R.; grandchildren and great grandchildren; and stepmother, Nita Cox..

Memorials may be given to Friends of the Library or Cherokee Ministerial Alliance through the funeral home.
