Memorial Service for Caroline Jean Germany will be Friday, July 28, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Cherokee.
Caroline was born in Jet on October 23, 1936 to Lawrance “Happy” Tuxhorn and Pauline Eichinger Tuxhorn and passed from this life on July 24, 2017 in Alva. Caroline was a lifetime resident of the Cherokee and Amorita area. Caroline was a licensed practical nurse and was a member of Cherokee First Christian Church and Jolly 20 club.
Those who preceded Caroline in death include her parents; her son, Larry; two brothers, Herbert Tuxhorn and Monroe Harper; two sisters, Jaunita Meadows and Susie Osborn; her husband, Jerry Keith “Jake” Germany; father of her children, Bill Young, Sr. and stepson, Cody Germany.
Survivors include brothers, Andy Tuxhorn of Parker, Texas, Max Tuxhorn and wife, Linda of Hutchinson, Kansas, Elmer Tuxhorn and wife, Sue of Cleo Springs and Arthur Tuxhorn and wife, Donna of Belle Plaine, Kansas; two sisters, Jane Roberts and husband, Ron of Mobile, Alabama and Glennis Martt and husband, Ed of Diamond, Missouri; six children, Rhonda Kight and husband, Phil of Cherokee, Bill Young, Jr. of Manor, Texas, Sheila Young of the home; Sam Germany of Lake Havasau, Arizona, Guff Germany of Las Vegas, Nevada and Bambi Abbs of Pryor; twelve grandchildren, Amy Kight, Josh Kight, Jessica Root, Ted Young, Tyne Abbs, Tara Abbs, Deziria Ray, Cobey Germany, Gabrielle Germany, Kyisha Smith, Sarah Germany and John Germany; eleven great grandchildren; several nieces; nephews; great nieces; great nephews; great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
Memorials may be given to Share Convalescent Home through the funeral home.
