Carol Falkenberg

Medford-Funeral service for Carol Mae Tate Falkenberg will be Monday, November 10, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Medford First Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Gilliland and Rev. Bob Smith officiating. Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery. Viewing will be Saturday 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. with family present 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.

Carol was born in Leavenworth, Kansas on September 22, 1947, the daughter of Sidney Franklin Tate and Lelia Jump Tate and passed from this life on November 5, 2014 in Enid. She had lived in Medford area for forty years, moving from Tracy, Missouri. On June 7, 1984 she and Eddie Falkenberg were married at First Baptist Church in Medford where she had been a member for many years. She was still working as Activity Director and Social Service Director at Wakita Community Health Center, a job she had since 1993. She belonged to the Busy Moms Club and liked casino hopping. She idolized her kids and grandkids and attended the many sports and other activities of all the grandchildren.

Those who preceded Carol in death are her parents, Sidney and Lelia Tate; three brothers, David Buckler, Albert Buckler, Jr. and Jimmy Buckler.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Eddie Falkenberg; her children and spouses, Roxie Nibarger, Jr., Howard Nibarger, Eric and Angela Nibarger, Angela and Brian Scott, Katie and Frank Barrows, George Falkenberg, Scott Falkenberg and Dianna Curl; fourteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers and their wives, Charlie and Mary Tate, Robert and Charvett Buckler; two sisters and their husbands, Betty and Stanley Dudley and Brenda and Jim Denton, many other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to Busy Moms Club or to the funeral home in Carol's memory for expenses. The memorials may be made through the funeral home to either memorial of choice.
