Cleo Springs-Funeral service for Bonnie Marie Newman, 88, will be Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Cleo Springs United Methodist Church with Rev. Rachael Parrot officiating. Burial will follow at Cleo Springs Cemetery.

Bonnie was born in Woodward on December 12, 1926 to Edward Masonhall and Lula Charlott Cain Masonhall and passed from this life on January 12, 2015 at her home in Cleo Springs. She was raised in Longdale, graduating from Longdale High School. Bonnie was a waitress in Cleo Springs and Fairview for several years. She loved sports and enjoyed high school games when Vernon was a high school principal in Tyrone and Cuba, Kansas. She was an OU and Oklahoma City Thunder fan. She loved her dogs. Bonnie was a member of the Cleo Springs United Methodist Church.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Vernon Newman of Cleo Springs; six children, Stewart King and wife, Martha, Tom Newman and wife, Molly, Wanda Newman, Melinda Koehn and husband, Michael, Greg Newman and Debbie King; many grand and great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by sons, Steve King and Randy Newman; grandson, T.J. King, Jamie Chappell; several brothers and sisters and husband, Bus King.

Memorials may be given to Cleo Springs Senior Center or Cleo Springs United Methodist Church through the funeral home.
