Beverly Ronald Barker

Beverly Ronald Barker, son of E.M. and Ruby Branch Barker, was born November 23, 1946 in Watonga, OK. He passed away at his home in Hardtner, KS on January 3, 2025. 

Bev grew up in Alva and graduated from Alva High School. After graduation he served in the United States Air Force, retiring after 26 years. After his military retirement, he attended and graduated from Oklahoma State University.

In his later years he lived in Hardtner and enjoyed working part-time at the O. K. Co-op. He also enjoyed attending South Barber activities while his great nephews were participating, get-togethers with his family, as well as visiting with friends at Corner Stop and Yur Place.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, (Bill, John and Jim) and sister (Ruby Ray), along with friend and great nephew, Dalton Black.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Barker; his sister, Barbara King and her husband, Wesley; sister-in-law, Patty Barker and many nieces, nephews and friends.
