Hardtner, Kansas-Beulah Blanche (Baier) Adams passed from this life on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the Kiowa Hospital District Manor. Her funeral service will be Monday, June 5, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Hardtner with Pastor Debbie Fink officiating. Burial will follow in Hardtner-Elwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, June 4, 2017 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Lanman Funeral Home in Kiowa.
Beulah was born at Medicine Lodge on February 24, 1921 to George and Ella (Warrington) Baier. She attended and graduated from Medicine Lodge Schools. On September 8, 1940 she and Gwynne Adams were united in marriage. Beulah was an active member of Union Chapel before moving to Hardtner. She was active in the Hardtner Senior Center and worked in the Food Stand at the County Fair for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Marge (Baier) Lukens.
Beulah is survived by a brother, Sam Baier and a sister, Donna Garten of Medicine Lodge; three sons, Eddie Adams and wife, Marsha of Alva, Oklahoma, Jim Adams and wife, Mary Jane of Manhattan, Kansas, John Adams and wife, Charlene of Edmond, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren plus numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church of Hardtner or the Barber County 4-H Foundation through the funeral home.
