Betty Ronck

Wakita-Rosary followed by a remembrance service for Betty Jewell Ronck, 90, will be Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church at Main and Birch Streets in Wakita, Oklahoma 73771. The funeral Mass is at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 14, 2018 at St. Mary’s Assumption Church and the burial will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery in Clyde, Oklahoma. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Medford, Oklahoma.

Betty was born on July 14, 1928 in Grant County, Oklahoma to George Bland and Fay Rice Bland and passed from this life in Wakita on August 25, 2018.  Betty spent her life living in Oklahoma.  She lived in Oklahoma City and Enid before moving to Wakita for the second half of her life   Betty received her Bachelor’s Degree and worked as a real estate agent.  She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Wakita.

Those who preceded Betty in death include her son, Rodney Ronck; her sister, Patsy Cink; her brother, Charles Bland and her parents, George and Fay Bland.

Survivors include her children, Keith Ronck and wife, Pam from Southlake, Texas, John Ronck and wife, Sharon from Enid, Oklahoma, Connie Berry and husband, Lee from Bella Vista, Arkansas and Doug Ronck and wife, Linda from Yukon, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and her ex-husband, John.
