Betsy was born on May 23, 1996 in Oklahoma City and passed away in a tragic automobile accident on February 15, 2014 reaching the age of seventeen.

Together with my husband, Mark, we welcomed Betsy into our home when she was two and one half years old. She grew up in the Ringwood area. She was a happy child who had a carefree disposition that made friends easily. Her daddy was very special to her, and she looked forward each day to his return home from work. She shared many happy times as a child with her older sister, Taundre and brother, Christopher. She received her education at the Cedar Christian School in Fairview and Wagon Creek Christian School in Goltry. Her childhood was clouded with the tragedy of losing her daddy in May of 2002 just before she turned six. Socially Betsy enjoyed a variety of friends, not just those of her own age. The elderly were special to her, and she appreciated being able to interact with them. She also found it fulfilling to be with little children. Betsy enjoyed anything outdoors and all the activities that went with it. Dogs, cats and horses were pets and friends. Betsy realized a need of God in her life. She responded to God's call and was born again. Minister Dennis Koehn baptized her on March 7, 2010, and she became a member of the Church of God in Christ Mennonite. There were times of her life that right choices seemed to be easier. However in the more recent past, she struggled to make choices that had a positive effect on her Christian life. To leave her soul with God, Who made her, is a comfort to us.

Those who mourn her passing are her mom, Millie of Ringwood; her sister, Taundre Isaac and husband, Neal of Barrhead, Alberta; brother, Christopher of Ringwood; grandparents, Richard and Agnes Jantz of Fairview and her boyfriend, Jonathan Koehn of Burns, Kansas; along with many uncles; aunts and cousins with whom she was close.

She was preceded in death by her daddy, Mark Jantz and her maternal grandparents
