Barbara Jean Duggins
November 21, 1935 - June 4, 2021
Barbara was born on November 21, 1935 in Stroud, Oklahoma to E.K. White and Elva Cagle White and passed from this life on June 4, 2021 at her home in Cherokee. She married Junior Dale Duggins on March 31, 1954 at First Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. In 1954-1958 Barbara worked at Adjutant General Office as Secretary to Major Truitt and Major Weber. In 1958 Barbara worked as a CPA at Hill Accounting Firm, at Holderby Ford and was a co-owner of Fair Store and Kountry Kitchen in Cherokee. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Red Hat Society. She was Citizen of the Year and was the first woman president of the Chamber of Commerce in Cherokee.
Those who preceded Barbara in death include her husband, Dale Duggins; her parents, E.K. and Elva White and sisters, Dee Parsons and Carolyn Heck.
Survivors include her two daughters, Donna Inbody and husband, Kevin of Meeteetse, Wyoming and Debbie Jackson and husband, Tim of Alva; six grandchildren, Kory Littlefield and Natalie, Ross Littlefield and Carly, Christa Nordquist and Drew, Cody Lakin and Kate, Lindsay Corder and Blake, and Morgan and Kayla Jackson; twelve great grandchildren, Tessa and Kaden Littlefield, Case and Cooper Littlefield, Asher and Roman Nordquist, Styles and Scarlett Lakin, Trinity McGee, Haedynn and Koltynn Corder, Emry Corder; brother-in-law, Larry Heck; nephews, Mark Parsons, Terri Heck, and Brian Heck; niece, Shelly Heck.
A memorial graveside service for Barbara will be Friday, June 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Cherokee Municipal Cemetery with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Cherokee. www.lanmanmemorials.com Facebook: Lanman Funeral Home Inc.
