Anita Patterson

Funeral mass for Anita Patterson will be Friday, June 28, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Kiowa with burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery.  Viewing will be Thursday, June 27, 2019, at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. at the church. Anita was born on September 1, 1938 to Leo and Dorothy Jenkinson and passed from this life June 24, 2019, in Wichita.  She married James Patterson in 1956 and they lived several places before settling in Kiowa in 1978.  She was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church and helped with the South Barber Ministerial Alliance for many years.  She loved to read mystery books and was in a book club.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Patterson and her parents, Leo and Dorothy Jenkinson.

She is survived by her five children, eleven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
